The Fastlane has been up and running Wednesday (31st March) and Thursday  (1st April) in the Tyre pool. Thanks to all who came and watched the swimmers giving it a go. Wasn’t it fantastic.

The Fastlane is like a swimming treadmill with the added extras of  under water mirrors and video cameras. The swimmers will be able to self correct using the mirrors while the coaches can give immediate feedback;  then,  further discussion and teaching can take place later using video.

Well done to all who competed. Some great PBs and exciting races.  Surprise  race of the night has to go Coach Mike. Surprised even himself I think. (2.39.75 200 free)

Sundays: 9th and 23rd May and 13 and 20th June. Please sign up at pool. Fun team event. Individual events and relays. Mostly 25 and 50 metre events. Suitable Tuesday nighters and bronze, silver and gold groups.

You must be available for all 4 Sundays. Coach Jason will choose your events. Flyer Please sign up before holidays. 12 and under only. No NZ Junior swimmers sorry. Entries close 1st April.
